Memory walk

Memory walk on eve of world Alzheimer’s day was organised today by ARDSI, PAGE, Mysore. Mr srivatsa MLA Mysore inaugurated the walkathan Mrs Devika RTO Mysore was the guest of honour around 850 students staff citizens of Mysore participated in the event. Walk started from kote Anjaneya Swamy temple, Mysore palace premises and concluded at Kukkaralli kere. Pamphlets were distributed to citizens to create awareness about AD. Students and faculty of SVCP, ATME college of engineering and other various colleges, staff of hospitals participated

Gandhi Jayanti

Gandhi Jayanti, celebrated on October 2nd, marks the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, a key figure in India’s independence movement.
Mahatma Gandhi’s Life: Focus on his contributions to non-violent resistance and social justice.
Role in Independence: Discuss his strategies, such as Satyagraha and civil disobedience.
Cultural Programs: Organize plays, dances, or recitations highlighting Gandhi’s teachings.. Non-Violence Promote the idea of resolving conflicts peacefully.

To educate the public about the principles of non-violence as advocated by Mahatma Gandhi and to commemorate his legacy through public engagement and the unveiling of statues.
Public Speakers: Invite activists, historians, or community leaders to speak on the relevance of Gandhi’s teachings today.
Art Exhibitions: Display art inspired by Gandhi’s teachings and the principles of non-violence.

Apna Desh” is a program aimed at promoting cultural awareness, community engagement, and national pride, often featuring events like workshops, performances, and discussions. In Bangalore, such initiatives may focus on showcasing local heritage, fostering connections among diverse communities, and encouraging participation in cultural activities
Skill Development: Providing training programs to enhance vocational skills among rural youth.
Women Empowerment: Promoting women’s participation in local governance and economic activities.

Health Awareness

Food system has become heavily reliant on chemical fertilizers and pesticides. While these may boost short-term yields, they compromise the health of our soil, our bodies, and our environment. The rise of plastic in food packaging further exacerbates these issues, leading to health problems and environmental degradation.
