Children represent the future of our society. They serve as pivotal agents of change within their families and communities. Therefore, it is essential to nurture them from a young age and instill in them a sense of empathy and moral responsibility so that they mature into conscientious adults. Recognizing this need, Apna Desh Association launched its Youth Empowerment Initiative in 2006. A key goal of this initiative is to raise awareness among privileged children and their families about the existing disparities around them.
Privileged children are educated about the hardships and struggles faced by those less fortunate. The Youth Empowerment Initiative aims to foster a sense of social responsibility and ethical values in these children, so they grow up to be responsible citizens and agents of change. By helping them appreciate their own advantages early on, the program encourages them to reflect on the challenges experienced by others. This awareness promotes a positive mindset and helps them develop into not only successful but also socially responsible individuals. As they mature, they become influential change-makers who make meaningful contributions to society.
Through the Youth Empowerment Initiative, Apna Desh Association engages with various schools to conduct interactive sessions for young students. These sessions are designed to raise awareness about different social issues and help students recognize their own privileged positions.
Magic Activities of ADA
The Apnadesh Association (ADA) in India is dedicated to fostering community participation in government schemes and programs across various regions of Karnataka. Recognizing that many impactful activities do not require financial resources but rather the active involvement of the community, ADA has focused on a range of initiatives that encourage collective action and selfless service.
